...four years later

Well, four years later, and I have lost the weight, my suits were too big, bought new suits, gained a few pounds back, and can't wear any again.

Hmmm - not much has happened

Hmmm. I guess not much has changed in a year. I am still afraid of my swimsuit drawer. It taunts me. If I don't lose 40 lbs by the end of February 2010, I will be wearing the blue suit again - unless I sold it in the garage sale this spring.

Can't put it off any longer

Well, I guess I can't put off the inevitable. We are leaving for Mexico next Thursday, and I don't have a swimsuit. I guess I do have a swimsuit, actually about 10 or so, but they don't fit. And it is not as if they are too big. I must have done something stupid with the suits that did fit - like sell them in my garage sale. I know my thinking "Hmmm, I don't need these big mother suits. I will lose lots of weight by the time we go to Mexico in six months and easily fit into my smaller suits." I guess not.
As I was saying, I couldn't put it off any longer - so we made a trip to the Big Mall here. That was a bust, but I guess the reason is the fact I didn't want to spend $88 on a swimsuit that I will wear only a few times (because by next summer, I'll fit into those other suits).
I did find a pretty nice one for the size at TJ Maxx, and it was only $19.99. It has rather odd small cups however. I guess designers don't take in account that your boobs increase exponentially with your arse.
Anyway, I now have a semi-cute suit and all is well with the world, or at least I have a semi-cute suit.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year. We had a wonderful New Year's eve with our best friends, Bill and Pat. I made Chicken Piccata. It was good. We ate and then played the "Big Ball of Blame" game.
